The Breed
A hardy solid meat sheep breed. Ewes are non seasonal breeders producing small lambs which grow fast. Ewes in good condition, will mostly have twins and are good mothers. Lambs grow quickly and produce carcass weights which are heavier than many first and second cross lambs.
Hillsborough White Dorper Breeding
In 2011 we attended the National Dorper Sale at Dubbo and purchased 4 White Dorper stud ewes. These ewes included ewes from Australis (F49415), Gap Genetics O1226 and Alambi studs. Together with ewes from the Limavady and Etiwanda White Dorper studs gave us our initial breeding ewes.

Ewes
Our White Dorper ewes have a femine shape and good conformation.
